But I am always hunting down that silver lining!
My creativity has never been more charged.
I do not know what the future brings and I am sure there will be challenges.
And I look forward to that!
career highlights
In a previous life, I was a partner at Coopers & Lybrand (now known as PwC). Yes! I am a Chartered Accountant!
As much as I loved the people I worked with, I did not find any satisfaction in the work.
In 1995, I retired from Public Practice and went to art school. It was a personal decision with obvious financial ramifications.
But, I have never looked back!
For me, it has been a journey of hope and discovery.
Studies:
- Art Centre at Central Technical Institute - Foundation Studies
- Toronto School of Art - Diploma in Fine Arts
- Academy of realist Art - Four Level Fundamental Program in Classical Drawing and Painting.
Honing my drawing and painting skills has been one of the greatest advantages in creating my work.
I have studied the rules and fundamental principles of the masters
But often........I just give myself permission to break them!
And that is when the fun begins.......
